Welcome to the website for the From Central to Hunter Ex-Students’ Association.
Formed in 1995 following publication of the book From Central to Hunter…the story of a school 1923-1975, the aims of the Association are to:
- provide an avenue of contact for former students and staff by organizing social functions, reunions and regular meetings during the year;
- collect and maintain memorabilia from the four various incarnations of the school;
- encourage academic excellence by providing prizes for students at Newcastle High School and Hunter School of the Performing Arts.
